Paul D. "Denny" Owings, 66 of New Bern, died May 14, 2011 at home. He was an Engineer and retired from Black & Decker in Fayetteville and Baltimore, Maryland. Denny was a 25 year member of Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary, one son, Michael Owings and wife Cynthia of Warrenton, VA; one daughter, Melissa Owings Wilson and husband Allen of Winston Salem, NC; two brothers, Raymond Owings and wife Nancy of Fairfax, VA; James Owings and wife Mary Katherine of Arlington, TX; and three grandchildren, Brian Michael Owings, Lindsey Allyson Owings and Tyler Dennis Wilson.
Funeral mass will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at St. Paul Catholic Church.
